General Summary

FormFast, a Healthcare technology innovator, is focused on improving the efficiency of our customers while lowering their associated costs for patient care and operations through the delivery of an integrated set of workflow solutions.

The Solution Architect role is dedicated to supporting our sales efforts by acting as the technical and product SME.  This is a critical role and requires innovative thinkers, clear and strong communicators, technical expertise and a strong background in healthcare.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, professional individual who can function at both a team and individual level, enjoy a dynamic and evolving environment and who is committed to personal excellence and success.


Job Function

The Solution Architect will contribute through the following core activities:

  1. Provide expertise and thought leadership in Solutions Architecture to the organization and customers, incorporating FormFast products, services and integration technologies.
  2. Assist the sales team by:
    • Identifying, qualifying and closing opportunities.
    • Demonstrate solutions to align with customer’s project drivers and corporate initiatives.
    • Lead solution discovery and RFP response efforts
  3. Collaborate with other cross-functional internal teams by:
    • Ensuring Solution Designs and Statements of Work meet the customer’s objectives, can be successfully deployed and position our Client Services for success.
    • Provide customer and market feedback to the marketing, product and engineering teams, and influence product direction.
  4. Participate in industry events such as tradeshows, seminars, etc.
  5. Maintain and demonstrate industry, solution and professional skills and expertise.
    • Create whitepapers, technical documentation and other deliverables as needed.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Experience working with major Healthcare IT systems such as Cerner, Epic, or Meditech.
  • Experience working in a hospital or ambulatory setting is highly desired.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare provider terminology, processes and workflows.
  • Strong IT knowledge, specifically Windows, MS .Net, SQL and virtualization/cloud environments.
  • Intimate knowledge of healthcare integration technologies, such as HL7 and FHIR is highly desired.
  • Articulate, engaging and persuasive presentation skills.
  • Skill in learning and adapting quickly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Two years Healthcare Software sales support experience is highly desirable.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
  • Approximately 50-70% travel required.
  • Preferred (not required) that this individual be based in the Midwest, with the option to work remotely, as long as there is access to a major airport.
