Position Title: Marketing Campaign Specialist

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Director of Marketing

Position Responsible For: Campaign management and other marketing tasks (see below for essential job functions)


General Summary

The Marketing Campaign Specialist plans and executes the company’s marketing campaigns.

Essential Job Functions

  1. (60%) - Develop and execute campaigns to produce sales leads and/or increase brand exposure
    1. Examples of marketing campaigns include, but are not limited to:
      1. Conferences and tradeshows
      2. Webinars and online events
  • Web-based lead generation
  1. Email marketing
  2. Direct mail
  3. Promo campaigns
  • Call campaigns
  1. (15%) - Manage assigned tasks and report activities to Director of Marketing
  2. (10%) – Manage lead process to ensure effective hand-off of leads from marketing and sales
  3. (10%) - Assist in contributing to website, social media, and other media outlets
  4. (5%) - Assist in coordinating marketing and company events


Primary Objectives

  • Contribute to the generation of sales leads
  • Increase the company’s brand exposure
  • Contribute to improving the marketing program by providing useful insights and market knowledge


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Skill in oral, written, and visual communication
  • Proficiency in project/campaign management
  • Skill in common forms of marketing writing, specifically for content like sales collateral, case studies, and promotional pieces
  • Must possess critical-thinking and analytical skills
  • Expected to develop knowledge of company products, services, policies, and procedures
  • Expected to develop knowledge of healthcare industry and company’s audience
  • Knowledge of marketing functions and their purpose
  • Knowledge of software essential to creating marketing materials (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) is preferable
  • Skill in writing (both for advertisement and longer written forms i.e. articles, white papers, blogs, etc.)
  • Skill in operating office and technological equipment and software
  • Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers, customers, and vendors
  • Ability to work independently and meet managerial goals
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to organize daily activities of self and others
  • Ability to work as a team player


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing. 3 years related work experience preferred
  • Healthcare experience is preferable


Job Requirements

  • Some travel may be required
  • Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors and employees
