Overview

Position Title: Implementation Consultant

Department: Client Services

Reports To: Manager of Implementation Consulting

 

General Summary

This position is responsible for all areas related to FormFast’s provision, and implementation of, technical and business solutions to clients. The person in this position must demonstrate and utilize analytical skills in understanding customer/client domains and be capable of introducing reliable technical solutions using FormFast software applications.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

  1. Deploy and configure FormFast’s software solutions at customer sites per defined requirements to meet customer needs and effectively carry out each aspect of the Client Services Implementation Methodologies. This would include pre-implementation ‘Discovery’ sessions to assess customer’s existing business processes and provide recommendations and best practices for optimizing the use of the FormFast solutions.
  2. Work closely and collaboratively in a team environment with Project Management and other services personnel to ensure successful project implementations.
  3. Train customer’s staff (administrators, end users, etc.) to work with FormFast products.
  4. Provide post-implementation services for customers including, but not limited to, deploying FormFast upgrades, migration of FormFast environment to new servers, modification to FormFast environment due to customer business process changes, etc.
  5. Assist Sales as assigned to support the presales process for new opportunities, including conference calls, site visits, presentations, technical assessments, and Statement of Work creations.
  6. Show high standards of teamwork and professionalism – actively working with other Implementation Consultants and Development team members.
  7. Collaborate with Product Management and Development teams to provide valuable input from “the field” and test new product releases.
  8. Skills development, administration, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong technical background including client/server architecture.
  • Strong Knowledge of Web-based products and Web Server process, such as IIS Management and Application Pools.
  • Strong knowledge in database technology, SQL/query design, MS SQL Management Studio, and SQL reporting.
  • Strong knowledge in MS .Net Frameworks, architecture and utilities.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP.
  • Knowledge of printers and virtual machines.
  • Knowledge of Boolean logic and barcode symbols.
  • Skill in completing multiples tasks at once.
  • Skill in identifying and resolving customer problems.
  • Skill in oral and written communication.
  • Ability to relate the products and solutions we provide to true business value for our customers.
  • Ability to be self-disciplined, motivated, and able to manage several projects at a time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and meet managerial goals.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to organize daily activities of self and others and to work as a team player.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or Information Systems or equivalent
  • 1-3+ years of software implementation experience preferred.
  • Healthcare background is preferred, but not required.
  • Salesforce administration experience an added plus, but not required.
  • Experience in VB.Net or VB6 programming an added plus, but not required.

 

Job Requirements

  • Up to 50% travel is required
  • Must be able to communicate highly effectively with customers, vendors and employees.
